In 2002, Tonner Doll Company released the second and last set of Display Dolls, each wearing outfits from 2002. The dolls were dressed by the factory at the time the production had been completed for a particular style (only Tyler was used). Dolls were limited to 100 each style...and all 100 dolls were made in the same style. Most styles are similar to those appearing in the catalog images of the outfits. The dolls had gold wrist tags that said ‘Authorized Display Doll’ and the boxes also carried gold stickers saying the same thing. From 2002, in addition to the gold sticker, the dolls actually had printing on the box with the name of the doll that also said, ‘Display Doll’.

Manhattan's high society is abuzz at the opening night of
the new Opera Season, as is Tyler Wentworth® as she takes her seat
in the Wentworth box minutes before the curtain rises. Afterwards, she
descends the grand staircase in her red and black silk jacquard gown with
matching cropped jacket. Tyler loves the elegance of its black fur trim
and glittering jet buttons. She chose black jet jewelry, black elbow
length gloves, and opera glasses in a matching silk pouch to complete the
ensemble.

hair; blue eyes; original arms) For the Grand Launch Ball of the Cosmetics Campaign, Tyler Wentworth® envisioned a gown that embodied the quintessential elements of one dramatic seasonal vision. To accomplish this, Tyler designed a new silk jacquard that would capture the innocence of spring with larger-than-life iridescent butterflies against the freshness of green to anchor a fitted and draped bodice of silk shantung. The foliage would be held at the waistline in a draped fall of matching silk; the bloom through a new hair color, designed by Tyler to compliment the serene Byzantine themes captured in her make-up palette and classic crystal earrings. The results danced together in a true ensemble of fashion, beauty and art.

blue eyes; original arms) When designing new collections, Tyler always makes careful considerations as to how the design will show on the runway. This was especially critical of gowns, as Tyler's strongest features were shown in feminine shapes, colors and textures. Setting the tone with a delicious fabric from France named 'Pink Champagne', Tyler built her masterpiece of that which described color and texture. In a consistent theme for her 2002 Tyler Wentworth® Collection, Tyler continued the use of gathered luxury in fitted bodices to crown a royal example of bias cut charmeuse for the skirt. To create the completed palette for this theme, Tyler adds big jewelry and monochromatic colors to set a regal portrait.
(Variegated brown/red curly hair, brown eyes; bending arms) It wasn't simply the gateway of Tuscany that brought Tyler Wentworth® to Florence, but her invitation from the Duchess of Clemens beckoned her to seek out this new experience, thus creating an unprecedented love for the city. This gathering of Italian nobility and grand families at the famous Ca d'Regiana on San Miniato called for an extraordinary show of Tyler's couture talents. Using custom-designed silk brocade woven by her treasured Italian silk mills, Tyler drew upon the art of Florentine paper as her inspiration for her textile design in a two-piece gown. Sumptuously beaded and trimmed in faux cream fox, the lines of the fitted jacket gave way to a fitted shape of the hip and a surprise train held within the hemline. The guests were enthralled by Tyler's visage, commenting that she was the epitome of 'la dolce vita!'

blonde hair; brown eyes; bending arms) In a consistent move to follow existing themes in her 2002 Tyler Wentworth® Collection, Tyler played with delicate texture and soft color to drape fabric across the body in a halting sophistication. Sydney selected this gown to wear at the Grand Launch Ball of the Cosmetics Campaign. With pale blonde hair in a romantic cascade and Tyler's creative make-up palette, Sydney compromised nothing to achieve sheer perfection in the citron yellow, whispering gown. Surrounded in a misty wrap of organza, Sydney Chase knew her evening would sing softly in her mind.

Opening night at the Symphony was just the treat to give Sydney her moment with luxury. Featuring Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, this was an opulent occasion calling for a Tyler Wentworth® Original in bold, emblazoned brocade trimmed in faux sable. The colors danced with the liquid texture of her gown, crowned at the bodice with Venetian lace. Cognac hair (brown/red variation blend)/brown eyes/bending arms.
Sydney often favored Tyler Wentworth’s® clever mix of day
wear with evening options because it always lent itself Sydney’s non-stop
schedule. Quickly finishing a new deal, Sydney removed her glasses
and darted off to a private party at Little Luxuries. Dressed in a
smart pen-striped suit, Sydney loved the faux collar’s
luxuriousness. When the jacket came off, the sequined and
embroidered camisole was a perfect change of mood for the party! Red

hair; brown eyes; bending arms) While watching the colors and textures of the runway, Mei Li made copious notes to describe to Tyler Wentworth® which outfits she would choose from the collection. When the gowns appeared there were many that caught Mei Li’s eyes, but one stood out as the definitive splendor to wear at the Grand Launch Ball of the Cosmetics Campaign. In a multi-tiered fantasy of ruffled chiffon, the colors of the lilac and lavender blended into an a-line skirt that flared away from the waistline. To complete the look, Mei Li would match the gown with a custom-designed palette for the face in soft, inviting tones. A frothy chiffon wrap created an undeniable mood with the structured, strapless bodice to form an instant classic.
Returning to her design alma mater to partake in student design critiques, Tyler Wentworth® wore an ensemble that reflected her refined sense of textural combinations. Using warm tones of coffee, gold and caramel, the ensemble is layered with a rib-knit, fitted turtleneck over a leather skirt. To create unity, she envelops the ensemble with a tweed coat and follows each individual color in the weave through to the handbag, hat and hip belt.
Opening her new Boutique in Chicago, Tyler Wentworth®
arrived at the airport in a sleeveless argyle sweater with narrow cotton
print pants, which she quickly substituted for a sharp skirt of the same
fabric for the boutique opening. Accessorized with a snappy handbag
and argyle shoes, Tyler’s sixth sense of ‘cool’ captured the newspaper
cameras with ambient charm. Included short skirt in same fabric as pants.
At the request of Regina Wentworth, Tyler represented her great-aunt, who was being honored during the Patron’s Ball at the International Couture Arts Museum in Manhattan. She wore a shimmering metallic top of gold over a matte black velvet columnar skirt. Wrapped in dusty faux shadow fox, Tyler Wentworth® style mirrored Regina’s sense of pure elegance.

Tyler’s dear friend Steven had just opened a new bistro in
Soho and everyone was just dying to sample his exquisite talent for
desserts and pastries. The opening of ‘Little Luxuries’ created a
media stir with the Manhattan elite. Tyler Wentworth® arrived
in a sheer organza coat over a two-piece dinner ensemble composed of soft
halter and dazzling sequined skirt; all in gold. While reminiscing
with Steven when all had left, Tyler was presented with a menu from the
magical evening and the sweetest bud vase from her friend. Also

Tyler’s friend Steven had recommended a perfect spot in New
England that was known for its softly sweet apples and eclectic range of
antique shops. Weekend breaks from the city were one of her most
cherished private moments, and Tyler Wentworth® exuded style and
casualness in this coat and pant ensemble that provide a solid base for
the autumnal plaid accents in her scarf and hat. It was the perfect
set for apple shopping and maple syrup tasting!
On very rare occasions, Regina Wentworth would traverse the ocean to spend a week with her favorite niece, Tyler. Tyler Wentworth® made the moment last an eternity with her beloved great-aunt as they shopped, discussed design and dined at Manhattan’s hot spots. Dinner at ‘Little Luxuries’ proved to be just the ticket after a Broadway opening. Tyler radiated in a glimmering cocktail suit based on one of Regina’s vintage silhouettes, bringing much pride to Regina’s smile. Included gold tone/'sapphire' necklace in tan gift box.
Tyler Wentworth’s® sense of weekend dressing hits a new classic as she designed a weekend get-away ensemble set for Esmé and Sydney to travel to Bal Harbour, Florida for a photo shoot. The cool colors worked with a dancing palm print in cotton to achieve the unity throughout the wardrobe set. Tyler designed a fun green sweater, broad linen hat and sharp accessories to mix and match in various occasions. Includes handbag, hat, belt, skirt, shorts, top, pants, and one pair of espadrilles. On a visit to a northern New England woolen mill, Tyler was inspired to design this outfit that would be perfect for a weekend retreat. The outfit consists of Tyler's signature jeans, a lush cotton cable knit sweater, and a double-breasted coat of red wool double banded in black. Tyler accessorized the outfit with a black and white wool check duffle bag and black boots.
